Big Time Rush is an American pop music boy group that formed in the year 2009. The group is made up of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. They signed initially with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia Records transferred them to their new label. The group was featured in Nickelodeon's TV show Big Time Rush. The show ran from November 28 from 2009 to July 25, 2013. The pilot episode featured the group's debut promo single, "Big Time Rush". The group recorded three albums: BTR in 2010, Elevate 2011 and 24/Seven 2013. In 2014, the band was on a hiatus that ran until 2021.
